In other boot news out of Japan...Trial has just released ERIC CLAPTON's June 3rd show at Frankfurt's Festhalle as "Just Like Sly" on double-CDR...also from Trial is JEFF BECK & SANTANA "Legend" 2CDR, recorded in Karuizawa, Japan on June 1, 1986 from a superb FM Broadcast sourcetape...Sirene will issue ROGER WATERS "Arrow Rock Festival 2006" 2CDR + bonus DVD-R "Watching TV" - the complete performance from Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands on June 10th on the audio discs with a 68 minute proshot version of the same show.   Crystal Cat is ready to release two new BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE SEEGER SESSIONS BAND sets..."Hammersmith Session Night" 3CD pairs the May 8th, 2006 Hammersmith Apollo show along with the May 9th St. Lukes Church BBC session recording from London...and "Stockholm Session Night" 2CD contains the May 21st performance from Hovet, Sweden (Stockholm).  Dog N Cat Records will issue another classic ROLLING STONES Black N' Blue Tour recording..."Earl's Court 1976" 2CD will utilize a soundboard/audience mix which will likely be an upgrade to the fairly weak titles that have come before it so, I will certainly welcome a DAC version to this show.

From Solenoid DVD comes another batch of interesting DVD-R titles this week...FLEETWOOD MAC "Windmill Farm Vol. 1" compiles Playboys After Dark US Cable TV and Montreux Music Mash 1969 footage, along with Top Of The Pops '71, Largo, Maryland 1975 proshot video and 1976 Midnight Special broadcast footage...HEART "Heartshaped Tattoo" pairs “The Second Ending Live At Kwsu Tv 1976” with Musikladen 1986 German TV broadcast footage...JAN & DEAN "Now That Summer Is Here" is a 1950's and 60's compilation that brings together all the typical appearances from US-TV from the era along with "Jan & Dean …On The Run" 1966 U.S. TV pilot..and U.S. documentary: "The rise and tragic fall of Jan and Dean"....PRIMAL SCREAM "Radio One Big Weekend 2006" contains their May 16th BBC appearance on Big Weekend with Reading Festival 1994, Top Of The Pops and UK TV appearances....Finally, from Footstomp DVD-R we have BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE SEEGER SESSION BAND "Meet Me In Church", again the St. Lukes Church London filming/broadcast (the 58 minute video equivalent to Crystal Cat's title above).

One last plea from me for this week is that if you have just a moment over the next few days, please post feedback or general comments here in this column, on how the enhancements to the site over the last few months are working for you....from the Search feature to responsiveness of page loading since we moved to the new server in May, etc.  I'm not looking for those wish lists or what you would like to see just yet!  Aside from the size of the database, how is this site serving your collecting needs?  Again, our primary goal is to keep you appraised of what's coming and to incorporate knowledgeable and insightful reviews of as many of these current or recent releases as possible.  We would hope to broaden the scope and depth of the database with earlier title reviews as the contributor resources expand.  And, if you think you would be interested in reviewing a few titles a month - even one a month!...shoot me an email on that.  My immediate thought would be to tap into collector expertise for some different artist tracks like The Doors, Springsteen, Van Morrison, Aerosmith, Heavy Metal titles, etc. We desire greater breadth.  Thanks for your continued support and never hesitate to speak your mind either way.  We are all passionate about how we spend our time collecting and HotWacks On-line is committed to bringing you growing value.  Have a great week!  Remember to post here or you can email me at sb@hotwacks.com
