Pink Floyd An Hour With Pink Floyd Sigma Label DVD  Pink Floyd Heavy Hung Sigma Label

...First off, two new PINK FLOYD announcements overnight from the Sigma Label - featuring their first silver DVD title if I'm not mistaken..."An Hour With Pink Floyd" is a Umatic TV Station Master of their KQED-TV San Francisco broadcast on April 29, 1970 plus a radio broadcast version on CD..."Heavy Hung" 2CD seems to be a low gen audience tape from their Santa Monica, California show on May 1st, 1970 and also looks great...New from Misterclaudel is THE BEATLES "NME Pollwinner's Concert" CD/DVD package that compiles all 3 years appearances at the New Musical Express ceremonies in 1964, 1965 and 1966 plus some Shindig! footage as well...Good news for RUSH collectors as the Cygnus Label have announced their next release over the weekend, "Road Map Of Jupiter" 2CD (pictured below) leverages a DAT Master of a soundboard recording from the Blockbuster Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 14, 1992 and is being described as 'the best ever'...

Rush Road Map Of Jupiter Cygnus LabelThe Rolling Stones All Along The Rhein River Vinyl Gang Products Label

...Well, when you've established a catalog under 2 separate monikers why not continue to use both?  As it turns out, that is exactly what the producers behind Vinyl Gang and Dog N Cat Records have decided to do.  We have new ROLLING STONES titles arriving on both labels according to release details over the weekend...just arriving from VGP to market is "All Along The Rhein River" 2CD featuring the audie tape from the June 2, 1976 early show in Cologne (Koln) - and it would seem this exact tape is a third go-round for the label...from DNC comes "Danish Brew" 2CD featuring both shows from Copenhagen on October 7, 1973. Not to be confused with the recently released "Copenhagen 1973" from a different label. These poor, confused souls...in other STONES boot news, the SODD Label has two new titles as well.  "Shepherd's Bush Empire" 2CD is a re-release of the excellent London show at Shepherd's Bush on June 8, 1999...and "1973 European Tour" 1CD contains the early show from Brussels on October 17, 1973 at Forest National with a bonus track from the late performance at Ahoy, Rotterdam on October 14th...

...Crystal Cat have a slew of BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & ESB sets on the way shortly, 7 titles in all which will include the following:

  • London First Magic Night from May 30, 2008 at Emirates Stadium in London 3CD
  • Amsterdam Magic Night is the June 18, 2008 show at Amsterdam Arena 3CD
