...As we told you about last week, the new ROLLING STONES inaugural release from the Social Graces Label, "Training Wheels", is set to hit the streets and contains previously unreleased, early stereo soundboard tapes from the Steel Wheels sessions...with emphasis on early here.  These would be earlier tapes than the fabulous Monitor Mixes that received the wide acclaim and dominated disc players late last year...and this set arriving in time to likely to challenge some of those DYLAN titles that surfaced this year for tops seeds in Top 10 rankings for 2008 - if the mp3 sample of 'Hang On To Your Hat' I received is any indicator!  Wow.  Here is the complete rundown of what is on the double-CD set:

...In other STONES boot news, Dog N Cat Records new title is "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" 2CD and contains the 1975 Tour Opening Early Show from the LSU Assembly Center in Baton Rouge on June 1st, 1975...Misterclaudel has a brand new BEATLES  title called "Live Beatles At The Maple Leaf Gardens 1966" and is a 2CD set that includes the evening show from August 17, 1966 along with the opening acts and a documentary...

...The Wardour Label has a couple of new releases coming to dealer shelves shortly and includes a very welcome stereo soundboard tape of ROBERT PLANT & ALISON KRAUS recorded live at The Merriweather Pavillion in Columbia, Maryland on June 13, 2008 - very nice!..the 2-disc set is called "Your Long Journey"...the other title is QUEEN "Especially Milan" 4CD which captures the September 14th and 15th, 1984 performances at the Sportspalace in Milan, Italy via excellent audience recordings...Arriving over the weekend is a No Label production of GUNS N ROSES "Chinese Democracy Demos" 1CD...and, Tarantura delivered the surprise LED ZEPPELIN title "Texas International Pop Festival" 1CD over the weekend in Japan, this, along with Empress Valley's 2nd edition of the classic ZEP title "Snow Jobs" 3CD in a Jewel Case pack...Wendy Records is looking to get the new year started right with their next LED ZEPPELIN release, "Long Beach Continuous Performances", a 6CD set that will compile the March 11th & 12th tapes from the Long Beach Arena...Expect Tarantura to continue the Limited Edition mode with their titles into the new year...

...Below is a look at the BOB DYLAN Performing Artist Vol.4 set from Hollow Horn titled "Some Big TV Network - TV Shows Part 2" 2CD set that includes previously available but no doubt immaculately remastered TV audio tracks - starting with The PBS special "The World Of John Hammond" from September of 1975 and wrapping up with his Grammy Awards performance from 2002...

...Finally, here's a look at the brand new BOB DYLAN Limited Edition 2LP, "Unraveled Tales", on colored vinyl from the Whispering Soul Label and features the October 1963 Carnegie Hall stereo soundboard that was originally provided to us via the Hollow Horn 2CD set of the same name earlier this year...
