...Announced earlier today is a non-label ROLLING STONES title called "Hound Dog: The Lost Handsome Girls", a single CD that gathers a selection of stereo soundboard tracks from the 1978 Some Girls Tour and just to be clear - these are anything but 'lost'!...here is the breakdown of it's contents: 1. Introductions Lexington 29th June 1978 ...Also, Sigma shared it's next PINK FLOYD release information...it's called "Dark Side Of The West" 4CD, featuring 2 shows - a new tape source of the September 22, 1972 Hollywood Bowl concert, and what is being pitched as an 'upgrade' tape of the San Francisco show at Winterland on September 24, 1972... ...The Godfather Records also unveiled it's next batch of titles to street sometime at the end of January, and it appears they have a slightly new art direction on their graphical design, and it looks great!...In no specific order from GFR comes JOHN FOGERTY "Hoodoo" 1CD which is a digital transfer of his unreleased 1976 LP...New to silver disc is the PINK FLOYD tape from the Bath Festival at Shepton Mallet on June 27, 1970, the single disc is called "Sunbathing In Somerset"...THE SMITHS "Life Is Very Long When You're Lonely" 1CD is stereo soundboard recording of an outdoor show at Irvine Meadows, California on August 28, 1986...and, pictured above are THE ROLLING STONES "Devils And Deserts" 2CD contains 1981 Tour soundboard compilation that relies heavily on the oft-booted Sun Devil Stadium show from Tempe Arizona which was also the primary concert from which the film, "Lets' Spend The Night Together"...OASIS "Pray For Light" 2CD also leverages a soundboard tape, this one, a November 8, 2008 concert in Copenhagen...and TOM WAITS "San Diego Serenade" 1CD delves all the way back to April 19, 1974 to the San Diego Folk Festival and is recorded from the soundboard... ...Also arriving at month's end from Apocalypse Sound DVD...OASIS "Standing On The Edge Of The Noise" which pairs up TV broadcasts from London on August 14, 2008 and Electric Proms appearance in London on October 26, 2008...then there are a couple of IRON MAIDEN DVD's..."Ed Force One Route To Mexico" contains proshot footage from a February 22, 2008 performance and "Live At Red Rocks" captures an August 30, 2000 show at the landmark, natural amphitheater in Golden, Colorado...Tarantura has also released a cool JIMMY PAGE & ROBERT PLANT double-DVD package along with all their LED ZEPPELIN re-issues the past week, "Complete Later With Jools Holland" utilizes a BBC Master Tape of their appearance that aired on May 8, 1998 and also includes the unaired proshot rehearsal footage as well... ...In other bootleg news, Misterclaudel will release the PAUL McCARTNEY single CD "The Piano Tape" which presents a 1974 tape of piano home recordings...and there's a new MACCA title from Strange Apple too, it's a 2CD set called "The Lost McCartney Album" and features this tracklisting: Disc 1 1.Front Parlour 2.Frozen Jap 3.All You Horseriders 4.Blue Sway 5.Temporary Secretary 6.On The Way 7.Mr. H.
