...A handful of new PAUL McCARTNEY discs to hit yet in the month of May with these latest announcements..."2nd Night At The Dome" (above) is a non-label production that presents a stellar audie tape from the Tokyo Dome on March 5, 1990...Speaking of MACCA, Picadilly Circus has several new titles from his Spring U.S. shows coming out that includes "Change Begins Within" 2CD which contains his Radio City Music Hall performance in New York on April 4th, while "The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival" 3CD set features his April 17th appearance at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California, and  "Viva Joint" 2CD is his April 19, 2009 show at the The Joint in the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel...Also just announced is the next in line from Sigma,  pictured below is the PINK FLOYD "Assorted Lunatics" 6CD set that compiles 3 different 1972 Japanese shows leveraged from nice audience sources with the first 4 discs containing the March 8th & 9th, 1972 concerts at Osaka's Festival Hall, and the March 10th performance in Kyoto's Furitsu Taiikukan rounds out the set...

...This past week the underground channels received an influx of new goods from Apocalypse Sound DVD - the lone video release featuring COLDPLAY "Gravity, Release Me" which is essentially a nice compilation of 2009 TV appearances that are bonus clips to the proshot anchor feature video from Saitama, Japan on February 12th which was broadcast on MTV February 27th....And then the big batch of interesting titles from Godfather Records!  New from GFR, "The Fishermen - Respect These Knights" 1CD that presents a secret performance by the late RICHARD WRIGHT and DAVID GILMOUR of PINK FLOYD at Annabels Disco and Nightclub in Copenhagen on August 1, 1988 with bonus tracks from the SYD BARRETT tribute "The Madcap's Last Laugh" in London at the Barbican Centre on May 10, 2007...DAVID BOWIE "The Lost Beeb Tapes" 1CD assembles assorted BBC performances from the December 18, 1967 Top Gear appearance to the May 23, 1972 Sound Of The Seventies show with Bob Harris...AC/DC "The War Machine" 2CD captures the March 11, 2009 concert in Bremen via superb audience tape with deluxe 11-page booklet...and there's more...

...a few more GFR titles include the ERIC CLAPTON 2CD "The New National Pastime" which contains another nice audience tape of his Paramount Theater show in Seattle on March 7, 1981...and then THE ROLLING STONES "Gimme Shelter" 2CD is a deluxe presentation of the Altamont Speedway audience source tape from the infamous December 6, 1969 free concert with a 4-page booklet and two mini posters...Along these same lines comes the new CLAPTON 4CD Box from Tarantura called "Unkown Land Of The South: Australian Tour 1975" that contains the stereo soundboard from Sydney on April 17th at Hordern Pavilion and April 23rd soundboard from the Festival Hall in Brisbane...this release is Limited to 200 numbered sets...and SODD has issued the STONES sets "Philadelphia Dress Rehearsals Special 1" 3CD set..and "Philadelphia Dress Rehearsals 2" 2CD that recycle the August 28 & 29 rehearsal soundboard tapes from Veterans Stadium in Phillie (the label info incorrectly cites JFK Stadium)... Finally, new on the IMP Label is LINDA RONSTADT "Budokan 1979: 30th Anniversary Special Edition" 2CD that delivers a stereo soundboard production, transferred from double-track reel tapes, of the March 3, 1979 show in Japan plus some bonus track material to round out the set...
