Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Good Job In The City The Godfather Records Label Green Day Silence Is My Enemy The Godfather Records Label

...The Godfather Records issued BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E STREET BAND title "A Good Job In The City" 2CD (pictured above) a couple of weeks ago and I just wanted to make sure and include it here with this weeks' announcements from the label as it is a stereo soundboard of one of the most raved about concerts of that tour so far...it's the peformance from the L.A. Sports Arena on April 16th...Also displayed above is GREEN DAY "Silence Is The Enemy" 2CD which looks fantastic. These guys are everywhere right now and their U.S. Tour is going to be one of the biggest of the year without question.  This particular June 25th release captures the band live at the E-Werk venue in Cologne, Germany on May 9th, 2009 via stereo soundboard recording, plus some bonus tracks from London TV shows: TV Total on May 6th and The Zane Lowe Show from Maida Vale on May 5th...The other GFR titles for June 25 are...GENESIS "Forwards, Backwards" 1CD that presents their T1 Transcription Service Taping for BBC Radio at Kensington House in Shepherd's Bush, London on January 9, 1972.  Also included are BBC Paris Theater/Studios, London on March 2, 1972 and one track from a September 25th, 1972 Kensington House recording...U2 "Dream It All Up Again" 2CD delivers the soundboard tape of their December 27, 1989 concert at The Point Depot in Dublin, Ireland with additional tracks from the December 26th & 30th performances at The Point plus a bonus track "I Believe In Father Christmas" to round out the title...

...Arriving through various channels to collectors' hands this week from Apocalypse Sound DVD are...AC/DC "Vibrations From The Floor" which pairs up 2 core Television appearances for this disc - the complete London VH-1 Session, taped in Studio B and captures the band live in the studio on July 5, 1996 which is cool for the very different setlist, culling from the Powerage-era and songs the band hadn't really played live with BRIAN JOHNSON to that point.  The other feature is their Monsters Of Rock appearance in Moscow on September 28, 1991 with an added bonus track of "Highway To Hell" as shown on German TV on November 23, 1979 via the show, ZDF Kultnacht RockPop in Concert...IRON MAIDEN "Return Of The Beast" is their complete Buenos Aires proshot show from March 28, 2009...U2 "Sketches From Zoo TV" is simply a compilation of assorted TV appearances and Proshot clips from 1992 & 1993...

...New ERIC CLAPTON titles provide very nice looking documents of his recent London concerts..."Remarkable Milestone" 4CD pairs up his May 19th & 22nd Concerts from Royal Albert Hall..and "Roaming This Old Highway" 4CD capture his May 25th & 26th shows at the same venue.  The master audience tapes leveraged here are said to be tops...Coming to us from the very same 'label-less' producers is the NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE release, "Journey Through The Last" 3CD which presents two different audience tapes -both great from what we hear - from their concert in Atlanta at the Fox Theater on November  24, 1976...

...there's the rub for June 22nd, 2009!...Feel free to post away with other things you're hearing from the field and we'll all likely learn a little something more than we had.  Other than that, have a great week and enjoy your Summer! ...I also hope that all the Dads out there stateside had a nice holiday with family over this past Fathers Day Weekend....have a good one.
