...Wardour surges with QUEEN '86 material a-plenty!...Above, "Wembley Stadium 1986" is a 4CD/DVD-R set that completely documents the time with a pair of superb audience tapes of their July 11th & 12th, 1986 London concerts transferred directly from the master cassette tapes - and the set is capped off with the bonus DVD-R, "Live In Budapest Complete", featuring the wonderful July 27th, 1986 proshot concert from Nepstadion in Budapest, Hungary...this is the 16-camera edition of the production...great stuff and this show includes one of the best QUEEN concert openers ever captured on film...Below is "Thank You All: Knebworth 1986 Special Edition", a 2CD/DVD w/bonus CDR package...first off the set presents a great audience source tape of their complete August 9, 1986 event concert from Stevenage, UK - then there is the DVD, a 114-minute proshot video capturing the proceedings...and to complete the capsule on this one, a bonus 2CDR called "Big Day Heroes" which includes the opening sets by BIG COUNTRY and STATUS QUO from the big day at Knebworth...nicely done....

...New from Virtuoso is FOCUS "Live Focus" 3CD set that contains three different soundboard recordings:  1971 rehearsals from The Netherlands, Newport Jazz Festival in Europe '71, and the Philharmonic Hall in New York City on March 23, 1973...this set is piggybacked with bonus DVD-R "At The Rainbow Remastered Edition", featuring a 43-minute upgraded proshot video of the band live in London in May of 1973...

...The Black Swan Label gets dusted off to press this ROY HARPER W/JIMMY PAGE "Cambridge Folk Festival 1984" 2CD title...it captures a rare live collaboration between the two friends at Cherry Hinton Hall in Cambridge, UK on July 28, 1984 via a very nice audience recording...early copies come with the bonus set comes with the bonus CDR "Robert Plant & Fairport Convention Cropredy Festival 1986" - this live outing also taped from the audience on August 9, 1986...

...A nice non-label production to relay this week, BLACK SABBATH "Definitive Pittsburgh" 2CD pairs a couple of stereo soundboard tapes from Civic Arena in Pittsburgh on December 8, 1976 and September 2nd, 1978 and the release notes boast upgrades on both of these sources...this set also comes with a bonus CDR title,  "Shocked Eyes" containing a soundboard tape from Taylor Coliseum in Abilene, Texas on December 7, 1978 and I have to say that I've never heard any of these tapes and I'm extremely interested in this package!...
