REVIEW:

Mostly studio outtakes with a few live cuts and alternate released versions, covering a long period of years.  Most in excellent quality.  Some points taken off for the lousy sounding “Malibu Sunset,” probably taken from a scratchy acetate with skips and everything, but not too many points off since we should probably be grateful to be able to hear it at all.  The cuts from Midnight Special (circa 1976?) are a treat, with the band only 10 years on from their glory days and Brian actually sounding decent (this was the “Fat Brian” era though, so I’m glad I didn’t have to look at him).
