REVIEW: |
The Jeff Beck Group returned to Boston for another three shows in early
Maty 1969, this is the first one; all circulating versions of this show were
coming from the same recording, the one chosen was the lossless version. This
recording has been de-clicked and its sound refocused, also the transitions
between tracks reworked by deleting some micro-gaps. Note that several banters
between the tracks have been shortened unfortunately on all versions. This
recording appeared on Spanish Boots (Scarecrow 039) and on Boston Tea Party May
6th, 1969 cdr. We finally get here a stereo recording and a pretty good
one too. As for the setlist we get a new song Spanish Boots and the
Unidentified Blues that seems to be The Sun Is Shining.
