REVIEW: |
The final concert of the Jeff Beck Group in Boston for this tour had all
the circulating versions coming from the same source: the one chosen here was
the one posted years ago on Dimeadozen by KRW_CO. also because it presented a
sequence from backstage with talking, interviews and some singing by Rod
Stewart and friends (Ronnie Wood can’t be made out though).
Now this recording has been de-clicked and transitions between tracks
reworked (each track was edited so they often fade in and out). Comparing this
with the other versions and the previous shows, this recording had to be
decelerated by
-1,7%; from
the 18 minutes backstage sequence were only kept the best singing parts after having
been reworked. This concert appeared on Boston Tea Party Third Night cdr and as
far as quality is slightly better than the other ones from the previous days.
