REVIEW: |
All the circulating versions of the third and last Boston concert came from
the same source too and were identical. The one claiming to come from a 1st
generation tape and posted in 2006 on Dimedeadozen by Mesquite is the one
chosen; the sound was boosted and the recording de-clicked and the transitions
between tracks reworked. Also, this recording ran too fast, a comparison with
the previous show showed that it had to be decelerated by around 3%. Note that
several tracks were edited and the last blues improvisation seems to be a truncated
segment with an added end. Sound quality is similar to the other Boston
recordings.
