REVIEW: |
Bob Dylan’s
Grenoble 1984 in soundboard quality was really unexpected to appear on the
market. This concert was not available before, except for audience recordings, just
some tracks appeared on the DVD The European Tour 84 (Hot Lips HLBD 003) It’s
Alright Ma, Jokerman, All Along The Watchtower, I And I and A -Hard Rain’s A
Gonna Fall. There is a nice setlist with some unexpected tracks like When
You’re Gonna Wake Up and Senor, there is also a version of The Times They Are
A-Changing sung in French with special guest Hughes Aufrey, who was introduced by
Dylan that said he knew him since 1962 when “he picked me up at the airport”;
the concert has an unusual ending with Senor.
