REVIEW: |
According
to the booklet this recording has been taken from KFOG FM broadcast which
presented the famous Fillmore West 1970 show from the Faces; however, this is
an excellent audience recording and moreover, such radio station began
broadcasting as rock station in 1982! Anyway, the concert is excellent the
bonus tracks come from John Peel’s Sunday Concert. Packaging includes a 6 pages
booklet which has an article from Sounds dated October 10th, 1970
reporting an interview with Rod Stewart that speaks about the difference
between being a solo artist and a band member. The recording is amazingly good
and packaging nice as well, despite the lie on it being a soundboard and the
gross mistakes on song titles; there also exists a 3LP set white vinyl version.
