REVIEW:

Put this one right up there with the rest of the stellar All Green Video releases that have recently surfaced.  This label is apparently affiliated with another highly regarded Japanese label, Watch Tower.  Quality is what being provided from this family of products.

I have not seen Volumes 1 & 2 of this Dark Horse Series but, if they are anything like this one, George Harrison fans are going to want to seek them out (apparently on the CTDVD (Coffee, Tea or Me) DVD Label.  The video sources used here are tops and the audio mastered at the same level.  The main focus of this release surrounds the 30th Anniversary, remastered version of George's masterpiece, "All Things Must Pass".  However, it delves back into the 80's to cover the whole Traveling Wilbury's period and more.  There are several moving snipets that fans will enjoy. But, it's hard to top the most honest and revealing interview George ever gave, which is the VH-1 interview from 1997 when he appeared with Ravi Shankar.  I remember watching this piece the very first time VH-1 aired it in it's entirety, the week George passed away.  I did tape it but missed the first few minutes.  Now we all can have it in our collections.  Once again All Green Video has pieced together a thoughtful collection of video from the most insightful Beatle.  Worth having, end of story.  Unfortunately, it is produced on DVD-R, but don't let that stop you.  This is high quality stuff.
