It is not very common to review a soundboard recording that hasn t come out in the underground market not even in professional cdr form, but here we have one from Alvin lee with Mick Taylor.

Their European tour opened in Italy on the 26^th of October in Torino and this recording presents the concert that happened in Firenze. A recording of the concert was available and actually released on Live in Firenze by Sly Dog Records from Canada on a single disc lacking the last number: it was called soundboard but it was actually the same as Playing Blues and Boogie (Breakdown 485 A/B) which had an excellent audience recording on. The line up was Alvin Lee with Mick Taylor on guitar alongside Calvin Fuzzy Samuels on bass and Tom Compton on drums.

There were actually 5 versions of this show, version 1 & 2 audience recording both running about 4,55% slower, version three that was ain incomplete soundboard version, presenting the tracks in wrong order and missing Choo Choo Mama and not Writing You A Letter as stated on cover, almost the same as version 5 which was Live in Firenze and version 4, the complete soundboard which is this. The transitions between tracks here has been reworked, deleting the little gap present at the beginning of Going Home at 5.05 and the end of Disc Two was upgraded by adding a fade in/out.
