REVIEW:

These songs were recorded by Finnish YLE radio and streamed on YLE Areena on July 11, 2021. One circulating version adds as the last track a song titled Harp Jam. This does not come from the Finnish radio recording though. According to some collectors this track comes from the Turku festival in Finland in 1970 and of course at this point Mick Taylor was no longer in the Bluesbreakers so the track is not presented here.

To complete this volume the YLE recording was ripped and the songs edited. The line-up here was: Mick Taylor on guitar, John Mayall on vocals, organ, piano, harmonica and guitar, Paul Williams on bass, Keef Hartley on drums, Chris Mercer on tenor sax, Dick Heckstall-Smith on baritone sax . Concerning part 2, while doing researches about the Helsinki show this radio recording posted by Hedasen Gumbo was discovered; all tracks have been edited, the rumble at the beginning and end of the tracks was attenuated, as well as 2 micro-gaps in Rock Me Baby at 3’09 and 3’10. It is supposed to be Paul Williams singing Rock Me Baby. This is a really good sounding recording that helps showing all musicians mastership.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
