REVIEW: |
This is a stellar release from Apocalypse Sound. The production is captured from clearly a Digital Satellite feed and it's great. Interactive Menus, Song Selection, superb audio & video, high energy show...what else do you need?
Maybe someone can clarify for the rest of us but, it appears this full-day concert event in which Metallica headlined...was part of the Rock In Rio Concert Series? There is some graphic art included on the back cover that causes me to ask that question. Being that this is filmed in Portugal, I am a little confused by this but no big deal.
The performance is typical high-energy from the band and they are having a great time. They are really pushing the crowd who show signs of fatigue at times but, it is all good. It has been obviously a long day but they clearly came to see Metallica rock. And they weren't disappointed. This is the entire show in the best quality you'll find. The packaging is also of the highest quality with color photos from the show lining the inner art/digipack,.
Don't hesitate on picking this one up. |
