REVIEW: |
Cincinnati
is the subject of volume 10 of this series and finally here e got an excellent
recording, so f
or this
show the same soundboard was found and the one titled Breathe On Me (BGS 199-3)
was used because here the sound was already amplified (perhaps a bit saturated
but not as much as on Wanted Dead Or Alive) and some defaults from the other
versions were absent (for example the noises in Sweet Little Rock ‘n’ Roller at
35 seconds or the micro-gaps). This show appeared also on Ain’t These Boys Special
Enough? (Rockin’ Rott 2002-017), Bookends in Cincinnatti (sic) (AM Productions
030579), Cincinatti (sic) May 3, 1979; here the sound had to be
refocused by
synchronizing the 2 channels and
the transitions
between tracks reworked. Note that
this recording is incomplete; it starts with a fade in and ends with a fade
out: the start of Sweet Little Rock’n’Roller and the end of Come To Realise are
therefore missing as well as the other songs played at the end of the show;
Breathe On Me was in two parts and reconnecting them some seconds have been
lost.
