The label and cover art reference copyright 1994 but I couldn't come up with any other information about this release being previously released.  Not in this format anyway. 

This is a really nice compilation of demos, rehearsal takes, one-off appearances, etc.  The overall sound quality is superb and evenly mastered, given the various caliber of the recordings themselves.  The tracks are presented with a very thoughtful flow which makes for an enjoyable listening experience, which is nice when the label could have easily taken the chronological approach.  Highly recommended for the Nirvana completists.
