REVIEW: |
Livewire has made a point of only releasing fine soundboard or broadcast recordings and this certainly falls into that category. My understanding is that the April 19th show was broadcast live. Later in the month they rebroadcast it and included several tracks from other performances Petty performed there. What we get is the complete kick-ass show from the 19th and odd tracks from four other nights. Unfortunately the odd tracks on disc three are somewhat repetitive of each other but it's still nice to know you didn't miss anything from any of the shows. As good as a broadcast can sound. The artwork is unspectacular to say the most. Livewire tends to go at a pretty decent price though so if you can pick it up without giving someone your shirt, it's 3 and half hours of great music. |
