This release from Mayflower presents the Stones Philadelphia Special remastered using AI in what is called multiband remaster. Let’s say first of all that this set contains just the Philadelphia 20 and 21 July recordings, as the Fort Worth stuff that was in the past included here has their own discs. The sound is excellent and, as said for Happy Birthday Edward, greatly benefits from this rendition that enhances the music and place every instrument upfront as never before. Another good thing about this set is that the tracks come in chronological order, so we get the July 20^th songs first, then the July 21^st 1^st show and then the 2^nd one. At the end of Disc Two there are 2 alternate mixes and these, as well as all the rest, are hiss free and with great stereo separation. Packaging is as attractive a ever and this is another plus for this release.
