Earlier this summer Eric Clapton hosted an all-star 3-day festival in Dallas as a fundraiser for his "Crossroads" substance abuse facility. Much of it was broadcast via digital satellite radio (I think it was also webcast, so this recording may come from that), including the material presented here. Carlos and Co. put on a solid, if perfunctory performance highlighted by Slowhand himself coming out to jam on the final track. Sound is flawless, although the set's short enough to not really be considered a must-own for Santana collectors.
The bonus tracks aren't anything to write home about either, unless you want a track of sitar improv and a sprawling 18-minute medley of former Santana/Journey guitarist Neal Schon wanking off mercilessly.
Usual Main Stream packaging, presumably from the show itself. 2-sided full color insert and tray panel. -- OSWALD
