REVIEW: |
In this volume we get the 2nd show from New
York in late May 89; here we have t
he same situation which presented itself in
several shows: we have two recordings coming from the same source but of very
different quality.
Here a soundboard recording exists in two versions:
the 1st one (source #1) was a little muddy and saturated but
lossless, another one (source #2) had a better sound but with a limited spectrum
(lossy?). The best result here was obtained combining the 2nd source
with the Maidenlane recording. All the recordings used have been
edited, de-clicked and
channels rebalanced and of course their speed synchronized.
This is another
great recording, however on disc One at the end of Leather Jacket and vefore
Blues In The Morning there are few seconds that should have been deleted.
