REVIEW: |
Volume 10 is the last of this series; it does not have great sound quality,
it was called #2 as for this show we already had 2 recordings posted in the
Woody’s On The Beach series. The newer of the two is the same as #2 but was
lossy; the other version (#1), older, was lossless and with better sound
quality but incomplete containing only titles on which Ron Wood played.
A merge of the 2 sources improves the quality of most titles giving them a
fake stereo effect; as usual the sources have been de-clicked, the channels
rebalanced and the 2 sources have been synchronized taking as a reference the
version which will be presented separately on video.
The line-up
for this concert was: Ron Wood on guitar, Jerry Lee Lewis on vocals and piano, Bobby
Keys on sax, Kenny Lovelace and Buck Hutcheson on guitar, Joel Shumaker on bass
and Jimmy Isbell on drums. On Disc Two on the left channel the new video source
(= #2) and on the right channel the 1st source.
