REVIEW:

On Volume Two we get Ron Wood with Bo Diddley that played together these 2 evenings in June 1988. There exist video testimonies, unfortunately partial, of these 2 shows; here you will find the soundtrack of the video compilation.

Many tests have been tried, here are the favorite ones: everything has been de-clicked, phase adjusted, channel rebalanced; a slight filter was used to decrease the big rumble… but don’t expect a miracle: the sequence is great but the sound remains average. The first track was recorded backstage on June 21st, here there is the intro by Ron Wood and a gospel-like improvisation by Bo Diddley The Devil Got Something To Do With It; the line-up was: Ron Wood on guitar and vocals, Bo Diddley on guitar, vocals and drums Jim Satten on guitar, Debbie Hastings on bass and backing vocals, Mike Fink on drums, Hal Goldstein on keyboards, backing vocals and harmonica plus special guest Bobby Keys on Seven Days & Ooh La La; the same line-up minus Bobby Keys on the June 22nd concert. The bonus track is a blues improvisation on slide guitar with some talking over by Jo Wood.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
