Here we
have the set Bill Wyman played again in 1977, the line-up here consisted of: Bill
Wyman on bass, Muddy Waters on vocals and guitar, Luther Johnson on guitar and
vocals, Robert Margolin on guitar, Jerry Portnoy on harmonica, Pinetop Perkins on
piano and vocals, Dallas Taylor on drums.
For this
show there were 3 sources:
One is a
video coming from the Spanish TVE on the program Popgrama which was originally
aired on August 9, 1978. The first eleven tracks are coming from this source
(here having been de-clicked).
The
other source is a saturated recording from an unknown origin with the last
tracks of the show: this source has the outro & the encore song. This
source has also been de-clicked, gaps between the tracks deleted and the speed
adjusted (decelerated by -1,1%).
The last
source here was only used for control reasons: it is the cd The Montreux Years
(BMG BMGCAT519CD) with David Richards as sound engineer and restored by Tony
Cousins.
On this
recording Bill Wyman guested on two tracks (I'm Your Hoochie Koochie Man and
Got My Mojo Working), both not uploaded here because being official.
