REVIEW: |
Amazingly rare release from the Japanese "Tarantura" label - limited to 200 copies - 100 copies with each of two different covers.
An older audience recording exists and was released several years ago on You Are Just A Dream (F*!#in' Up FUPCD-2001/2002), but was less complete. I believe this was from a slightly lesser quality tape source as well (please correct me if I'm wrong Neil fans!)
The sound quality of this will blow you away. It's superb beyond belief for a 1976 recording - like a soundboard in terms of clarity but dynamic and punchy at the same time. Overcooks here and there at times but I'm really nitpicking to find anything to say about it. Performance wise, Neil was at the top of his game on this tour and it shows.
Packaging is superb. Glossy Mini-LP style with a beautiful design and attention to detail from this premier Japanese label. This release
was issued with two different covers - the one pictured is the second - with each issue limited to 100 copies each.
As I said, this is an EXTREMELY rare release. If you have the chance, get it now! |

I finally received my copy. All I can say is WOW! Sounds like the LA Stones show from 7/13/75. Comment by Anonymous wrote on 2007-08-23 11:35:34
