A worthy title for any Tull collection! Though this is a distant audience recording, the polite Japanese audience allows the taper to document an excellent peformance from the band, with nice clarity.
The band is on the road to exercise the new "Thick As A Brick" material and the 1972-1975 period was clearly the peak for Jethro Tull. The new material gets a cool, but polite, response....but everything picks up in intensity on disc 2. It's hard to pick a highlight out of the second part of the show because it gathers momentum from "Cross-Eyed Mary" right on through.
So, what we've got here is a high-quality performance on an OK sounding tape....but, it's housed in a superb and deluxed gatefold digipack case that makes it "worthy" to all those collecting Tull. Plus, it's nice to get a show that hasn't been widely circulated! Seek this one out.
