Well, Happy New Year everyone. We made it!...but man, the holidays can really suck the life out of you! It's been a nice break but I'm happy to get back into a routine. We hope that you enjoyed your Holidays and had the chance to kick back, eat, drink and be merry. There really hasn't been much going on over the past 2 weeks, however the break gave us an opportunity to catch up on some reviews.

As we look back over the year 2004, it's been a year of change for me both personally and professionally. Not all of it good, but I hope that you see the improvement in this little place we can all assemble, share, debate and more importantly - guide. HotWacks On-line was a good idea that struggled to find its' feet completely in its' first 12 months.

There will be much rejoicing from Bob Dylan fans this week and there's a promising new Led Zeppelin Boot Label on the block. Those items and much more this week in the News here at HotWacks On-line.

It has turned out to be a pretty active week on the news front. The commercial bootleg labels and smaller CDR labels are really picking up the pace with the release schedule.

ROLLING STONES related Bootleg News leads this weeks' column. Rumors had been swirling around for months regarding the demise of Vinyl Gang Productions. It seems that this has finally been confirmed. Vinyl Gang is no more but it appears that the label has simply changed its' name...

As I write today, I want to first send out positive and supportive vibes to our friends in Florida who are getting pounded again by Hurricane forces, this time, Jeanne. Hang tough folks!

One thing we can certainly all agree about regarding bootleg collecting�there is ALWAYS a variety of things to talk about. And that is surely the case again this week.

First off, my taper alert I put out in July for that ROD STEWART/RON WOOD concert at the Hollywood Bowl on August 30th, has paid off!
